Abbas Vafadar, Senior Partner & Managing Director, is one of the co-founders of the firm established in 2002. He graduated from University of Tehran, Faculty of Management in the field of accounting. He started auditing in 1986 and is one of the first qualified Certified Public Accountants (CPA) in Iran. At present, he is a member of High Council of Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA), which is the only legal disciplinary body of Certified Public Accountants in Iran.

He is a Judiciary Official Expert in accounting & auditing fields. He was also member of  board of directors of big companies. He has also been a lecturer in University of Tehran and Allameh Tabatabaei University in the field of auditing, accounting & finance for more than 20 years.

He has many publications including “Auditing I”, the most comprehensive book for auditing in Iran and the “Tax Rules Collection”, the most popular tax reference book in Iran. He has been a regular contributor to the professional journals and newspapers such as Donya e Eghtesad and Accounting & Auditing Review. So far, he has written more than 120 articles on professional controversial matters in accounting, auditing and tax in the most popular and professional journals and newspapers.
