Relaxing and revising stringent regulations in the production sector should be taken into account when assisting manufacturers’ production and export, Behrooz Foroutan, a member of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture told ISNA on Thursday. “Building buffers for domestic producers will help consumers and the government is the authority in charge of serving this purpose,” the official said. Foroutan lamented that the production sector is not comprehensively supported in the country, although top officials claim that they believe in economic prosperity. “The government should fuel production via liberalizing the existent tough regulations on production sector to meet the society’s current demands.”
