Iran Fara Bourse has launched a merger and acquisition negotiation platform to facilitate the process of public assets’ privatization on the capital market and improve sales transparency, IFB’s managing director said on Monday. “Organizations who seek to privatize their assets, such as Iranian Privatization Organization, banks and Social Security Organization can provide IFB with a detailed list of sellable assets so that they can be listed on the platform to find potential buyers,” Amir Hamouni was also quoted as saying by IFB’s public relations. According to the official, tax-exempt share sales and superior transparency in share transference and price discovery are the platform’s primary advantages. Iran Fara Bourse is an over-the-counter market for securities and other financial instruments in Tehran, which operates under the official supervision of Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran.
