Compliance Training for Banking Delegates
Twelve delegates from Iranian banks completed a two-day workshop organized by the International Compliance Association to receive the internationally-recognized ICA Certificate in Compliance in London, the world’s financial capital. Delegates were hosted in London for a week by OSACO Financial to attend the London International Compliance Training Program organized in partnership with the Monetary and Banking Research Institute of the Central Bank of Iran, OSACO said in a press release. In addition to ICA training, they met with international compliance counterparts, Financial Action Task Force country evaluation experts, European regulators and senior UK government figures. Compliance with international standards still represents a significant challenge to the ability of Iranian banks to reconnect with the global banking system, particularly in the area of AML/CFT.
