Tehran stocks opened trading week on Saturday in positive territory only to retreat later as most shares pared early gains.

The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, shed 52.65 points and closed flat at 0.00% to stand at 1,284,107.

Most indicators were flat reflecting a lukewarm market.  The TSE’s equal-weighted index settled 0.01% higher and the TSE-30 index was up slightly higher at 0.05%. The former index gives the same weight to all shares and the latter tracks the performance of 30 companies in terms of market cap.
